All while understanding that together we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Day Shift w/ Shared Call requirements **Location** : **AdventHealth Waterman** **The role you’ll contribute:** The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups. Utilizes the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** . + Actively participates in direct patient care (geriatric, adult, adolescent, and pediatric), while analyzing and interpreting patient specific information to assess and reassess the individual nursing care plan. + Demonstrates critical thinking skills when interpreting changes in patient’s immediate post-operative condition. Communicates patient information to all appropriate caregivers, to assure effective continuum of care. + Demonstrates competence in the management and interpretation of all patient monitoring devices in the PACU environment. + Provides accurate, timely documentation in Surginet and Power chart while utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to deliver competent, effective, cost efficient patient care. + Participates in the revision and review of unit specific policies and procedures, while actively engaging in unit goals and performance improvement. + Maintains appropriate infection control measures and maintains a safe patient environment. + Assists in the care and maintenance of equipment and stocking the unit with supplies **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + Graduate of a school of nursing + Requires a minimum of one year ICU or previous PACU RN experience + Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse **Preferred qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Nursing + Professional Certification This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
