High School DiplomaAssociates or bachelor’s in health-care related field (preferred)Medical Terminology2 Years of experience with insurance referrals, prior authorizations, or equivalentWhat Surgery Revenue Coordinator’s will do:
Surgical Scheduling – To include tracking, monitoring, and managing surgery status between centralized surgery scheduling, central authorization team, and clinical care team/ officeAuthorizations / Denials – Serves as a single point of contact for denials, appeals, requests for more information ect.Customer Service – Follows up and investigates insurance reimbursement of payment concerns for both patient and practice as necessaryMay perform or assisting with in-office procedures / treatments.
