Responsibilities:Responsible for all aspects of the surgery schedule including coordination with surgeons and use of software.Works closely with physicians in the Department of Anesthesia to coordinate and communicate anesthesiologist assignments.Prepares and distributes the surgery schedule.Qualifications:EducationHigh School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate requiredCompletion of college level course-work in business or administrative sciences preferredExperienceExperience as a scheduling clerk in an acute care hospital preferredFamiliarity with surgical procedures and proven knowledge of Medical Terminology obtained from previous work experience or class preferredExperience with EPIC preferredDisclaimer:
