Our client, Michigan Medicine, is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to join their team. As a Surgery Scheduler, you will be part of the Head and Neck Cancer service supporting a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**What's the Job?**
+ Coordinate provider clinic schedules, patient and procedural scheduling for all patients clinic service.
+ Schedule surgical procedures for multiple surgeons and manage the surgery calendar.
+ Communicate with patients to confirm OR dates and times, and manage cancellations and rescheduling as needed.
+ Utilize available OR rooms efficiently and provide expert skill at clinic scheduling and adherence to standard work procedures.
+ Manage daily work queues and phone calls from internal and external customers related to surgery.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ 3 – 4 years of clerical/administrative experience with complex scheduling.
+ Demonstrated customer service excellence and attention to detail.
+ Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
+ Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
