Surgery Scheduler schedules surgical procedures following approved hospital and Patient Care Services policies and procedures. This position is responsible for obtaining, recording and relaying accurate information required for scheduling cases
Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures.Obtain insurance prior authorizations as needed. Coordinate pre-admission testing and any necessary referrals prior to a planned surgical procedure. Schedule any necessary post-operative follow up.Job Qualification:
