Surgery Scheduler - General Surgery Department
Full Time - 40 hours per week / Weekdays Only
The Surgery Scheduler interacts with physician offices to assist with the scheduling of surgical procedures. Providing clear, concise directions to patients scheduled for surgery & procedures at WRMC. This position will perform other related tasks to meet or exceed customer requirements. Performs accurate, efficient and courteous scheduling of procedures, provides non-clinical and clinical instructions and facilitates handoffs as needed.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Also must meet one of the following requirements\: Medical or healthcare program graduation, or certified as a Medical Assistant, or 2 years of experience performing the above duties, in a doctor’s office. Two years previous experience, performing the above duties in a physician’s office. NOTE\: Graduation from a Medical or healthcare program, or being certified as a Medical Assistant may be accepted in place of the experience requirements. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
