Job SummarySurgery Specialty Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire process/daily functions of the Specialty Programs within the General Surgery service line, to include continuous development and evidence-based process improvement. They provide support and guidance for clinical policies and procedures as well as ensures compliance with appropriate regulatory agency requirements. The Specialty Program Manager maintains responsibility for ensuring that the general surgery subspecialty programs and its components are compliant with appropriate accreditation standards of insurance payors and other national accrediting agencies.
Minimum QualificationsMinimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Nutrition Related Field
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of Experience Working in the Clinical Environment with General Surgery Subspecialties
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): None
Required Certifications/Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse or a Registered Dietitian by the State of South Carolina;
Must Have and Maintain Current Certification within a General Surgery Subspeciality (i.e., a Certified Bariatric Nurse (CBN) or Certification as Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management (CSOWM)) within 2 Years of Entry into Role.
