Provides courteous, safe transport of patients and/or supplies throughout the facility. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities + Maintians environment of care. + Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care. + Develops and maintains technical skills. + Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order. + Documents all patient transports on appropriate chart/log. + Completes assigned goals Requirements, Preferences and Experience Education Preferred: High School diploma, GED or higher Minimum: Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience Experience Preferred: 1 year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment. 6 months hospital or customer service experience.
