Surgical Laser Technicians

maintain a professional relationship with all physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff and other personnel both in appearance and behavior. A Technician’s role is to make sure equipment is working and ready for use before, during, and after each surgery.

What You Will Do in This Role

Tests, cleans, and sterilizes equipment in operating room prior to procedures.Present in operating room during procedures; level of involvement in procedure is subject to physician demands.Removes, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes all surgical equipment after procedures.Ensures operational excellence of all vehicles and equipment by communicating defects or necessary maintenance to key stakeholders in a timely manner.Transports equipment to ensure that it is in the right place at the right time for necessary procedures.

What You Will Need for This Role

High school diploma or equivalent required.Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.Must be able to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time as well as being able to bend and reach repeatedly.Be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.
