If you're ready for your next opportunity, we’d love to connect! **Position Overview** As a **Radiology Technologist** , you will play a critical role in the operating room, performing C-arm procedures and assisting with preoperative assessments. You will ensure that radiology equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, while supporting the surgical team in delivering excellent care for **orthopedic, spine/neuro, and total joint procedures** . **Key Responsibilities** + Perform **fluoroscopy (C-arm)** procedures in the operating room, primarily for orthopedic, spine/neuro, and total joint surgeries. + Participate in **preoperative patient assessments** related to radiology. + Ensure equipment is **calibrated** and maintain detailed logs of all C-arm procedures. + Collaborate with the surgical team to meet the Center's goals, adhering to **safety and quality standards** . + Support **risk management** and **quality improvement** initiatives. + Communicate effectively with supervisors, physicians, and co-workers, maintaining a professional and respectful environment. + Maintain professional competence through **continuing education** and active participation in committees. + Ensure compliance with **aseptic techniques** and manufacturer guidelines for C-arm equipment handling and maintenance. **Qualifications** + **Education:** Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. + **Experience:** 6 months to 1 year of related experience is required; **2 years** of radiology technologist experience preferred. + **Certifications:** + **A.A.R.T** (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. + **BLS** (Basic Life Support) certification. **Desired Competencies** + Proficiency in **performing radiology procedures** with precision and professionalism. + Strong communication skills to interpret physician orders and relay patient information effectively. + Knowledge of **radiology safety policies** and equipment maintenance. + Ability to provide **age-specific care** and involve families in decision-making when appropriate. **Why Join Us?** + Be part of a specialized team focused on **orthopedic, spine/neuro, and total joint procedures** . + Opportunities for **professional development** and continuous learning. + Contribute to **quality care** in a dynamic Ambulatory Surgery Center environment.
