school diploma or equivalentExperienceTwo years of experience in a hospital or medical related field with use of computers and data entry functionsLanguage SkillsFluent in EnglishPreferred RequirementsExperienceTwo to four years of experience in a hospital or medical related field with advanced knowledge of computers and data entry functionsKnowledge Skills and Ability RequirementsAbility to read and understand oral and written instructions and effectively communicate informationWorking knowledge of medical terminology to include CPT codes and ICD codesAccurate grammar spelling and punctuation skills necessaryProficient computer skills to include working knowledge of Windows based software including word processing database and spreadsheet programsDemonstrate strong customer service skills and has excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments employees physicians and managersAbility to work in stressful
