The role you’ll contribute:
Assists the licensed anesthesia physician in the clinical setting. Demonstrates practical knowledge and expertise in all general areas of anesthesia. Maintains and organizes the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies and personnel to facilitate department functions. Ensures department compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to anesthesia care. Oversees and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of anesthesia delivery systems, monitors and ancillary devices.
Maintains sterile supplies within the expiration date and ensures sufficient inventory of all equipment and supplies.
Works with Supply Chain Management on cost-saving initiatives.
Demonstrates an understanding of anatomy and physiology as it applies to anesthesia care.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Diploma or GED
Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
