**Job Qualifications:**
1. Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology
2. Completion of fifteen (15) hours of continuing education concerning surgical technology to continue practicing surgical technology
3. SAMA Level 1 (within 30 days of hire)
4. BCLS (within 60 days of hire)
5. Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technology program or must provide evidence of employment as a Surgical Technologist prior to July 1st, 2009 with a HS diploma or its equivalent.
6. Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or completed a surgical technology program provided by the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard or the commissioned corps of the United States Public Health Service.
7. Experience preferred, not required.
