Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology 2. Completion of fifteen (15) hours of continuing education concerning surgical technology to continue practicing surgical technology 3. SAMA Level 1 (within 30 days of hire) 4. BCLS (within 60 days of hire) 5. Must be a graduate of a Surgical Technology program or must provide evidence of employment as a Surgical Technologist prior to July 1st, 2009 with a HS diploma or its equivalent. 6. Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or completed a surgical technology program provided by the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard or the commissioned corps of the United States Public Health Service. 7.
