Position Description

Performs various tasks and duties to provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during and in the turnover of surgical procedures. Specializes in multiple surgical services and potentially works with neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Is responsible for coordinating supplies and equipment for service and physician needs as directed by supervisor.

Position Requirements

REQUIRED:

 

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program and three (3) years of experience as a Surgical Technologist. 

 

Certified Surgical Technologist

 

Note: As of February 7, 2016, employees currently in the Surgical Resource Technologist role are considered grandfathered and are therefore not required to meet the educational, experience and certification requirements of this job. Anyone applying for Surgical Resource Technologist after of February 7, 2016 must meet the established requirements.
