The CSFA is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining sterile field during case and providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures. The CSFA performs wound closure, sutures subcutaneous tissue and skin. Position is full time 40 hours per week with normal working hours 7:00am-3:30pm, plus call rotation for evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have Surgical Tech First Assist Certification. Qualifications Education and Work Experience + Certification in Surgical Technology/Certified First Assistant. + Successful completion of a training program in a recognized First Assistant program. + Five years experience in an acute care operating room in the scrub role, preferred. + Must be proficient in the following specialties: a.
