Responsibilities

The operating room (OR) runs as a team; every person on the team has an important role that directly impacts the patient. Your success in this role comes from your adaptability and enthusiasm to work with a team taking patients from a diseased process to a healing process. Duties include:

Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilizationNavigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you’ll be supporting Adapt to the needs of emergency situationsProvide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma/GEDCertified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) required as of September 1, 2010 or "grandfathered" employees –OR‐ LVN
