Join our team as a full-time day or night shift Operating Room Surgical Technician in Pocatello, ID. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to assist with the nursing care of patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively. Responsibilities:

Assist with the nursing care of patients by performing routine and delegated duties according to departmental and hospital standards.Prepare and disburse surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation pre, intra, and post-operatively.Demonstrate knowledge of aseptic techniques and adhere to the principles of asepsis.Follow the standards of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) guidelines.Maintain clinical competence and pursue professional development opportunities.Participate in the responsible management of all departmental resources.Take call as required by the department.

Qualifications:

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program or certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).Proficiency in aseptic techniques and surgical instrumentation.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to handle the physical demands of the job and work in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00
