Astria Health is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our team!
This is a Full-time position with a schedule of day shift + on call 10 hour shifts.
As a Surgical Technician, responsible for assisting with surgical procedures in an operating room. You will:
Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedureSterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgeryPreparing the patient for surgeryPassing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operationTaking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operationRecounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operationMaintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgeryCollaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.Adheres to the core values and standards of the organization.
What you bring to the role:
Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program or a current student in academic good standingCurrent Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration or Licensed Practical Nurse LicenseBasic Life Support certification.Oral and written fluency in the English language.
