With hospitals in Lufkin Livingston and San Augustine St. Luke’s Health-Memorial provides millions of dollars in charity care and community support each year. **Responsibilities** Sugical Technician II will assists in patient care and preparation of surgical patients; performs scrub duties and related procedures; accountable for ensuring cleaning and maintenance of supplies and equipment for selected specialty. Performs in the advanced roles of preceptor, service specialist and instrument room liaison. **Qualifications** **Educsation and Experience Required:** + High School Diploma/GED + Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) required as of September 1, 2010 or "grandfathered" employees or LVN + Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) with American Heart Association + Two (2) years of experience ****** **_Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.
