Our Surgical Technologists will:

Work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in delivering safe and effective care to patients in the intraoperative period.   Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction. Have knowledge of the procedures performed and anticipate the surgeon's needs, including providing instruments, sutures and supplies. Check that instrumentation and equipment are in working order. Maintain aseptic technique throughout set up and surgical intervention. Maintain and advocate for patient safety. Perform other tasks as assigned (checking outdates, stocking, rooms, picking cases, etc.).   Perform counts according to hospital policy and initiate appropriate procedure for incorrect counts. Correctly handle and identify surgical specimens. Safely dispose of biohazardous material. Actively participate in room turnover between cases.

What you'll bring:

Passion for Perioperative Services 1-2+ Years of Operating Room (OR) experience preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED required Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through the Association of Surgical Technologists required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

The pay for this position ranges from $36.9900 – $44.2700 per hour.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
