**Position Description:** **Surgical Technologist – Non-Certified** This Surgical Technologist role in Labor & Delivery will be cross trained to unit secretary and trained on admitting, scheduling, and registrar duties in addition to surgical technologist skills. + The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. + Prepares equipment, instruments, supplies, operating room and patients to ensure sterile field.
