· Operates a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system to monitor casino activities and prepare reports and logs.
· Operates software to save and preserve video coverage.
· Make recommendations and enforce state and federal regulations. Will communicate with security and other departments using phones and radios.
· Will follow policies to ensure safety and asset protection.
· Maintains all logs and ensures accuracy of log entries.
· Maintains confidentiality of all Casino information.
· Reports all incidents observed on shift to the Leadership.
· Comply with company regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Act as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.
· Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma, GED, or comparable experience preferred.
· Prior experience in a security, casino or surveillance-related field is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerable CCTV screens.
· Must be able to work and maneuver in close quarters.
· Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations.
· Must be able to see and, also, remember the specific details of incidents and persons. Ability to compose clear, accurate, and concise reports.
· Must be able to operate the following equipment: Monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras.
· Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Ability to maintain extremely confidential information.
· General familiarity with investigative procedures.
· Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with co-workers, guests and vendors.
