Overview SUMMARY: Monitors Casino and associated areas via CCTV and direct observation to insure compliance with law, regulations, policy and procedure. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives training in monitoring casino and associated areas via CCTV and direct observation to insure compliance with law, regulations, policy and procedures. Monitoring Play-all games, distinguishing high action, levels of play, strategy, note and document discrepancies to correct house procedures or suspicious activity. Observing Casino adjunct department as well as Slots, Cage, etc. Notes and dcouments discrepancies to correct house procedures or suspicious activity. Observes adjunct casino departments such as Slots, Cage, etc. DVR review-Jackpots, procedure errors, patron claims, cash transactions and previous shift incidents. Peruses and produces reports on procedure errors, patron claims, cash transactions, and previous shift incidents. Changes tapes, placing corresponding tape in VCR's to be recorded for correct shift;rewinds tapes to be put back in retention. Answering phones-ability of taking pertinent information from adjunct departments. Photos-as requested by adjunct department. Floor surveillance. Overall surveillance-monitoring all Casino activities. Surveys-productivity of live games and high action player analysis. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Three months Surveillance Trainee experience. Knowledge of games and Surveillance equipment. Minimum age requirement is 21. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: GED High School Diploma MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math skills. Language Skills: Must be able to speak and understand English. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently standing, walking distances up to 30 ft., reaching, seeing, hearing, kneeling, fingering, handling and wrist motion. Constantly taking direction, paying attention to details and making decisions. Frequently sitting, twisting, eye/hand coordination, reading and writing. Occasionally walking distances up to 1,000 ft. between departments. Occasionally carrying documents and files up to 5 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Inside a climate-controlled environment Outside: humid, high places, changing temperatures, hot, cold, dry, wet, dirty, noisy, hazards, odors Cement surfaces Noise Working with others and sometimes alone.
