Job OverviewThe Surveillance Systems Technician Supervisor is responsible for the installation of all upgrades and service packs; maintenance of security and operational needs of all network servers, switches routers and related paraphernalia.  This is an on-call position and must be available to respond and help resolve all related issues (24/7). If unable to resolve via phone, or VPN, on-site presence is mandatory.  It is also the responsibility of the Surveillance Systems Technician Supervisor to ensure that all surveillance equipment is in working order.PurposeOur genuine engagement and positive energy provide guests an escape from their routine into our exciting fantasy world of fun, chance, and possibility, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and importance.Value SystemOur enthusiastic commitment to our purpose inspires and empowers us to do everything right, have fun, and be the best. We will be recognized fairly, elevating our levels of personal accountability, and focus on our customer. The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all.Duties And Responsibilities Surveillance network and server security, administration, and troubleshooting (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail system, web server, Internet access, office systems, and applications support) Supervises and provides support and direction as needed for site surveillance technicians Supervises the installation of surveillance equipment indoors and outdoors Supports, monitors, maintains servers, cameras, networks, desktop hardware, software, and applications Supports, monitors, maintains digital video recording system Keeps accurate records of all equipment, operations and activities Interfaces with all departments with reference to both hardware and software issues Ensures that all preventive maintenance to equipment is completed and documented Prioritizes work orders based on operational necessity and follow-up on status Works closely with the Director of Surveillance in meeting departmental needs Participates in the development and implementation of key strategies, best practice techniques and tactics to ensure system optimization Assists in planning, execution, and the management of projects; Negotiates and meets deadlines in a dynamic environment with changing priorities Assists in the organization and distribution of the workflow of technical staff; reviews reports from personnel and provides reports to the Surveillance Systems Supervisor or as directed Researches surveillance technology and makes recommendations on enhancements to ensure efficient and cost-effective surveillance systems operation Maintains an awareness of current regulations, controls, policies and standards for adherence and compliance with Federal and State regulations Be available for on-call duty seven (7) days a week; Works cooperatively with all levels of staff Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Surveillance Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)  High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older Associate’s Degree in Related field– required OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– required OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a PCI Gaming Department– required OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department– required Bachelor’s Degree in a Related Field AND three (3) years’ experience in a Surveillance Technician position– required OR Seven (7) years’ experience in a Surveillance Technician position- required OR Four (4) years’ experience in a Surveillance Technician position with Wind Creek Hospitality- required Three (3) years of surveillance systems, or comparable experience with Genetec Security Center or other IP based video management systems- required Experience with Axis cameras, equipment, and software- preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook- preferred Experience with VM ware, SQL and Active Directory- preferred Must have experience as a systems technician working hands on in a wide-area Cisco networking environment with knowledge and understanding of multiple platforms Must have experience with wireless networks and wireless cameras Must be strongly self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency in tackling challenges Must be able to be on-call when not at work Ability to work calmly in difficult, high-pressure and high-stress situations Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a valid and current State Driver’s License and an insurable driving record for purposes of driving company vehicles as required Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position On-line applications are accepted at http://www.windcreekhospitality.com/Careers.  For internal employees, please submit your Internal Job Posting Form to your property’s Human Resources office.
