Job Overview The Surveillance Technician is responsible for the installation of all upgrades, service packs, security and overall operational maintenance needs of all network servers, switches routers and related paraphernalia.  Must be available to respond and help resolve all related issues (24/7).  If unable to resolve via phone, or VPN, on-site presence is mandatory.  It is also the responsibility of the technician to maintain and ensure that all surveillance equipment is in working order.  Purpose Our genuine engagement and positive energy provide guests an escape from their routine into our exciting fantasy world of fun, chance, and possibility, where everyone feels a sense of belonging and importance.Value System Our enthusiastic commitment to our purpose inspires and empowers us to do everything right, have fun, and be the best. We will be recognized fairly, elevating our levels of personal accountability, and focus on our customer.  The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all.  Duties And Responsibilities Network and server security, administration, and troubleshooting (including backup, security management, user account management, e-mail system, web server, Internet access, office systems, and applications support) Supports/monitors/maintains servers, networks and desktop hardware, software, and applications Supports/monitors/maintains CCTV equipment Supports/monitors/maintains digital video recording system Installs of surveillance equipment indoors and outdoors Keeps accurate records of all equipment, operations and activities Become familiar with equipment and operations Interfaces with all departments with reference to both hardware and software issues Performs preventive maintenance to equipment Other duties & responsibilities as assigned  Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older Associates’ Degree in related field– preferred Four (4) years of directly related experience in security as a security officer or correctional officer, surveillance as a surveillance agent, in a gaming operations environment or as a field technician in a related high technology field- required One (1) experience as a systems technician working hands-on in a wide area networking environment with knowledge and understanding of multiple platforms- required Must be strongly self-motivated Must be able to be on-call when not at work Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency in tackling challenges High level of professionalism Ability to work calmly in difficult, high-pressure and high-stress situations Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Highly motivated and directed; Keen attention to detail; Proven analytical and problem solving abilities Must be able to stand and/or walk for entire shift; use hands and fingers to feel objects or tools; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for extended periods of time; able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds; ability to work at heights up to approximately thirty (30) feet Strong customer service orientation Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Must have and maintain valid state-issued operator driver’s license Willing to work odd and irregular hours including night and weekend schedules Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position Apply Now Save this job Share: Email Tweet Facebook LinkedIn
