Our Geospatial team in Rockdale are seeking a full time Survey Assistant to assist on multiple surveying projects across Sydney and NSW. You will be supplied with the best surveying equipment and work with highly respected professionals which will support your development and growth within Stantec. The successful applicant will be motivated to work and learn from a team of experienced Surveyors.
Day to day tasks would involve: Assisting with survey projects as required. Involvement in a variety of field surveys, including engineering and cadastral surveys. Assist with setting up and operation of survey equipment in the field. Assist with the recording of measurements in the field. Placement of survey marks and searching for original marks. Maintenance of survey equipment and ancillary equipment. To be successful for this role you'll need: Currently studying a related course at TAFE or University (preferred but not essential) A genuine interest in Surveying. A keenness to get involved and learn from others. Strong level of communication skills. A positive & proactive attitude
