Job Description
Prepare Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA Surveys and Plats of Subdivision. Utilize MicroStation to draft survey data from the field. This position involves providing complex CAD support for the Surveying team by preparing engineering/survey plan sets and creating reports.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA Surveys and Plats of Subdivision.Utilize MicroStation to draft survey data from the field.Provide technician support for the Surveying team.Prepare engineering/survey plan sets and create reports.Essential SkillsProficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD.Experience with topographic surveys, boundary survey software, and ALTA surveys.Knowledge of land surveying, land development, and civil design.Experience with Civil 3D and construction documentation.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's Degree in CAD is preferred.2 years of experience as a civil CAD drafter (land development or transportation).Understanding of survey data (topography, ALTA, plat subdivision, easement) is highly preferred.Work Environment
This is a fast-paced work environment where the individual could be working on 2-5 projects at a time. The position involves 100% computer-based work performing Survey CAD drafts. The individual will have their own desk/cubicle and a company desktop, with a laptop provided after a few months. Employees may have the opportunity to work one day from home, typically Monday or Friday, after earning this privilege. The survey team consists of about 20 people, including 4 PLS individuals. The role involves working closely with two PLS employees. Opportunities for training and development in surveying or other divisions are available.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00
