Survey Cad Technician
Job Title: Survey CAD Tech
Job Description

A civil engineering consulting firm is seeking a Survey CAD Tech for their north end office. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in CAD drafting for survey scopes, with a preference for hands-on land survey experience, specifically in topographic mapping.

ResponsibilitiesSupport CAD drafting for survey scopes.Perform topographic mapping.Utilize boundary survey software for various projects.Assist with land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Carlson Survey.Conduct construction staking and layout mapping.Essential Skills4+ years of experience in Survey CAD drafting.Proficiency in Civil 3D.Experience in topographic surveys and mapping.Familiarity with land surveying equipment such as total stations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Trimble and/or other boundary survey software.Construction staking experience is a plus.Layout mapping experience preferred.Work Environment

This position is based in the Lynnwood office. The team is known for its tight-knit and laid-back culture, with a management philosophy that emphasizes trust and autonomy. Scheduling and dispatching are provided well in advance, allowing team members flexibility in their work locations. The group enjoys a long tenure and strong camaraderie. Benefits include 6 paid holidays and 80 hours of PTO. The team also supports high-rise construction projects and has plenty of opportunities due to a high volume of incoming projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
