Job Description
Lead and manage a survey crew, ensuring accurate and timely completion of surveying tasks. Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations and data collectors. Conduct and oversee surveying activities for large infrastructure projects, including roadway, utilities, and land development. Implement high-definition scanning techniques and processes as required. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to provide precise measurements and data. Train and mentor junior crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on all projects. Assist in the preparation of survey reports and documentation.

These positions report to the office. The role requires reporting to the office 1 to 2 days a week to check in with the team and switch out equipment. Travel around South Jersey (an hour or two from the office) is necessary, with mileage and toll compensation provided. The Crew Chief will receive a vehicle and equipment for their work. The team primarily uses LICA equipment. The position has a straight 40-hour work week, with occasional night work required for railroad projects due to safety issues. Benefits include coverage of half of the health and dental premiums, a 401k match typically around 4%-5%, and an annual bonus dependent on company performance. The company also provides educational benefits, including up to $2,000 a year towards tuition for relevant certifications, licenses, or college classes.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00
