Survey Crew Chief
Job Description: + Lead and manage a survey crew, ensuring accurate and timely completion of surveying tasks. + Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including total stations and data collectors. + Conduct and oversee surveying activities for large infrastructure projects, including roadway, utilities, and land development. + Implement high-definition scanning techniques and processes as required. + Coordinate with project managers and engineers to provide precise measurements and data. + Train and mentor junior crew members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. + Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies on all projects. + Assist in the preparation of survey reports and documentation. Qualifications: + Experience and/or Education with Total Stations, Digital or automatic Levels, Laser Scanners, and GNSS Systems. + Experience and knowledge of Topographic Surveying and Boundary and Right of Way Investigation. + Education or experience in land surveying preferred. + Exceptional note and record keeping ability. + Ability to produce quality field data based on sound judgement. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00 the companys benefits offers:full medicial dental and vision. federal sick leave2 weeks PTO8 holidays Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Westfield,NJ.
