Job DescriptionProSidian Consulting seeks a Survey Data Analyst on a contract contingent basis [Possible Contract To W-2 FTe] to support and manage survey data initiatives with data expertise that translates numbers into plain English for forward thinking clients seeking to solve problems and improve operations. This role will support and lead CONUS/OCONUS project teams for engagements with Private Companies, Fortune 1,000 Enterprises, and Government Agencies of all sizes. Key work areas include working to develop survey questionnaires, collect data, analyze information, summarize finding, and make recommendations. From Cross-Sectional and Longitudinal Surveys as well as Focus Groups - whether it's sales figures, market research, logistics, transportation costs, employee engagement, Service Quality (SERVQUAL), Job Task Analysis (JTA), Customer Satisfaction (CSat), etc.
The Survey Data Analyst shall have the ability to explain questions, explore issues, make observations, and use visual aids. Seeking sustainable continuous improvements the Survey Data Analyst strives for Accuracy and efficiency for better sampling and works to ensure client stakeholders both understand and accurately capture data elements required to solve problems and improve operations. Surveys may be managed through face-to-face interview, focus groups, telephone surveys, and written questionnaires (by mail | by e-mail | web survey). A data analyst's job could mean figuring out how to price new materials for the market, how to reduce transportation costs, solve issues that cost the company money, experience measurement, or determine better platforms for employee engagement.
The Survey Data Analyst is responsible for data processing and analysis activities required for job preparation, field support, quality control (QC), final reporting, final deliverables, and project close out activities as assigned by Project Management. This position operates personal computers with appropriate software programs to support data processing and analysis tasks. This position interfaces closely with ProSidian Engagement Teams to support a range of survey efforts, mapping and deliverables. The Survey Data Analyst must be someone who excels in a fast paced environment, and gets excited about tapping into the voice of the stakeholders/consumers to improve experiences, solve problems, and improve operations.
In this role, you’ll be working closely with a cross-functional team consisting of product managers, marketing, engineers, and other data scientist/analysts to help provide insight in awareness for CONUS/OCONUS Private Companies, Fortune 1,000 Enterprises, and Government Agencies of all sizes. The ideal candidate will help design and manage surveys, derive insights from responses, and present findings to stakeholders to help drive management decisions. You will analyze the results of individual polls and prepare presentations and reports. You will come up with better, faster, cheaper ways to understand pressing business challenges, constraints, and opportunities. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in many different ways; this is an ideal position for someone who loves doing social science and other technical research and wants to get their hands dirty in pursuit of sustainable growth.
