Job Title: Survey Drafter

Job Description

This company is looking to add a Survey Drafter to their team to help with the design of land development and public works for some upcoming projects. This is an at-desk job and requires no field work. The candidate needs to be comfortable drafting in CAD/Civil 3D. Types of projects range from municipal infrastructure such as bridges, building and facility sites, roadways, and streetscapes, to residential and commercial developments in urban and suburban areas.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain survey records, maps, and reports.Analyze survey data and create detailed drawings using CAD software.Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate surveying for projects.Provide guidance and support to field crews during surveying operations.Essential SkillsExperience as a CAD Technician with survey drafting.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Proficiency in Civil 3D.Knowledge of survey software.Land surveying experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 years of surveying experience.Experience in civil/site/infrastructure design.Work Environment

This is a 40-person company with three main managers overseeing different teams. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility. The company promotes a family-oriented environment and values work-life balance. The dress code is comfortable and professional. Remote flexibility is available. All travel expenses, including hotels, air travel, meals, and mileage, are covered. Employees earn 1 week of PTO while on contract, as well as paid holidays.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
