Westwood Professional Services, Inc.  is seeking a Survey Office Intern to join our team. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting Registered Professional Surveyors with CAD production, survey research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points
• Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff

Required Experience High school diploma or GED requiredCurrently enrolled in an associates or bachelor’s degree program in Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related area of studyBasic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D for production activitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks, project coordination, maintain organizational structures, and interact with other design servicesAbility to perform in a fast-paced environment that is in a growth modeStrong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience Knowledge of ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, preparation of easement documents, legal descriptions, final plat preparation, construction stakingFull use of Microsoft OfficeFamiliar with GIS processes and terminologyPrior experience with survey field work About Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
