We are seeking a skilled and experienced Land Survey Party Chief to lead our survey team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing field survey operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data collection, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of surveyors and technicians in the field.Conduct land surveys for various projects, including construction, boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys.Operate and maintain survey equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.Ensure accurate and precise data collection, processing, and documentation.Interpret and analyze survey data to produce detailed maps, reports, and drawings.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines.Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Train and mentor junior survey staff, providing guidance and support as needed.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during survey operations.Maintain accurate records of survey activities and equipment inventory.

Qualifications:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying Proficiency in using survey equipment and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Trimble).Strong understanding of survey principles, methods, and techniques.Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
