CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Survey Project Manager to join our Infrastructure – Survey Team in the northeast at our office in Burlington, MA; Norwell, MA; Hartford, CT; or Keene, NH.

CHA's comprehensive approach to survey and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is the hallmark of a successful project.  Our approach includes a variety of tools and skillsets from boots on the ground to advanced measurement technology including the use of drones.  We are focused on putting all the elements together to create sustainable solutions that result in accurate and precise work.

 

The Survey Project Manager is responsible for the coordination with internal and/or external clients regarding various survey projects as well as QA/QC functions.

 

This individual is responsible for working with Project Team Leader and Business Practice Leader to develop the scope of services required for survey task requests; estimating the cost and schedule requirements for the scope of work; obtaining approvals; and monitoring the delivery of services as well as QA/QC functions through the completion of the project. 

 

The Survey Project Manager will support the development of qualification materials to support project pursuits. Additionally, the professional in this role will direct and participate in the preparation of survey deliverables, communicating with clients to ensure that the project deliverables are aligned with the client needs.

REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma required, Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent field experience.PLS required State of NHMinimum 10 years' related experience required; at least 3 years in project managementThorough knowledge of Federal, State and other regulations regarding land surveying; DOT experience preferredThorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, instruments utilized for land surveyingAbility to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRoads is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences.Thorough knowledge of the methods, techniques, and best practices associated with the land surveying profession.Valid driver’s license. SALARY RANGE:

$95,000 - $115,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
