Our land survey group is seeking a professional land surveyor close to the Triad/Piedmont area of North Carolina and our Burlington location. This is an ideal position for a qualified candidate with at least five years of professional experience as a Professional Land Surveyor. ResponsibilitiesDirect field and office staff on a variety of survey-related projects and tasks.Work closely with the project manager to ensure scope, schedule, and budget requirements are being met on survey projects.Implement QA/QC practices for final survey deliverables.Overtime and occasional out-of-town travel is anticipated.Essential SkillsAt least five years of professional experience as a Professional Land Surveyor.North Carolina Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license.Technically sound in the use of Trimble equipment and software.Self-starter who can work independently and can adapt to working in a team setting.Physical ability to walk over uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsA two-year degree in land surveying or civil engineering technology or a four-year degree in land surveying.Experience with design surveys, including transportation, utility, municipal, and site development.Geospatial control and lidar QA/QC.Performing computations for construction layout for transportation, utility, building, and municipal projects.Preparing legal descriptions.Land surveys, including ALTA and right-of-way plats.Understanding of NCDOT surveying procedures.Prior project management experience is a plus.Work Environment

The position is based in Raleigh, NC. The work involves both field and office environments, requiring the ability to walk over uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and occasional out-of-town travel are anticipated. The role also involves the use of Trimble equipment and software.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
