Job Title: Survey Technician

Job Description

Surveying subsidiary for a major residential construction firm is looking for a Survey Technician to bridge between field and office staff. This role will perform checks and verification of plan and field data, comps for field crews, and production of cutsheets. Primary responsibilities include communication with field and office staff, other departments (engineering/planning), clients, and management. The position requires a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and is primarily an office role with an expectation to help support the field when needed. Specific duties include preparing land development stakeout files, processing field data, supporting survey crews, scheduling field crews, assisting in proposal preparation (takeoffs/time estimates), preparing survey worksheets for ALTA/boundaries, and preparing commercial stakeout files. The ability to troubleshoot and perform minor design modifications is also essential.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Olympia, WA

Work Environment

Working out of the Redmond Toll Brothers office, you will be part of a small team but will collaborate with Toll Brothers team members. Even though you are part of a subsidiary, you will be treated as an employee of the parent company. Direct managers are not local but will interact with you daily. Currently, there is one surveyor in the field.
