Job Title: Survey Drafting Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey Technician to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The successful candidate will assist in conducting land surveys, survey drafting, collecting data, and preparing detailed reports. This role is essential in supporting our engineering projects and ensuring accurate and reliable survey results.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct field surveys and collect data using various surveying equipment.Assist in the preparation of survey maps, plats, and reports.Perform calculations and data analysis to support engineering projects.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying or a related field.Survey drafting experience AutoCAD and Carlson software experience Proficiency with surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and data collectors.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00
