Survey Technician

Job Description:

Overview:

This position provides office support, assisting in the preparation of survey projects, such as boundary surveys, subdivision plats, construction calculations, topographic and route projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform survey tasks under the direct guidance of the Survey Project Manager and Project Surveyor.

Create basic drawings from field survey data, sketches, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Assist in preparing field packages, drawings, exhibits, and legal descriptions with detailed instructions.

Compile, organize, and analyze survey data with supervision.

Process field crew data and assist in creating base maps for field crews.

Ensure data is accurate and formatted for review.

Support deed research and simple calculations with direct oversight.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree, certificate, or equivalent relevant experience.

0-4 years of experience in a survey technician or related role.

Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation experience is a plus.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Willingness to learn and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Dependable, reliable, and eager to grow in the survey field.

Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm with overtime as needed.
