Survey Technician
Job Title: Survey TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Survey Technician to perform topographical surveys, boundary surveys, utility surveys, and construction layouts. The candidate will be responsible for collecting field data using surveying equipment and software and will use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and photographs to assess project needs. Essential Skills + 0-3 years of experience in land surveying + Familiarity with AutoCAD + Strong mathematical skills + Ability to work in an outdoor environment, including harsh weather conditions Additional Skills & Qualifications + College degree + Experience with topographical surveys, boundaries, construction layouts, and utility surveys + Proficiency in Civil 3D + Drone survey experience Work Environment The workday typically starts at 7 am and ends at 4:30 pm, with direct reporting to the job site. If the weather conditions are too severe to work outside, the work will shift to the office, focusing on CAD tasks. The company promotes a team-oriented atmosphere with various bonding activities, such as attending Yankee games, team barbecues, and participating in a softball league. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
