What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking a Surveyor to join our dynamic and energetic team. We are looking for a qualified construction surveyor that can layout, as-built and document electrical infrastructure. This person will have to be motivated and be able to travel to different locations
What you’ll do:
Duties including:
+ Assist the VDC department on project needs for layout
+ Help maintain a layout schedule and progress of work log
+ Capture as-built information and share with the VDC team
+ Perform site layout and capture shots during backfill operations to eliminate rework
+ Capture accurate measurements using GPS and trimble total stations
+ Set up site equipment
+ Requirements:
+ 3+ years of experience with on site layout for construction
+ Experience with Trimble GPS instruments, Trimble total stations and Trimble Business Center
+ Job requires both office and outdoor work
+ Previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role
