Job Title: SurveyorJob Description Surveyors will assist the crew chief in setting up and taking down total stations and other survey instruments. They will take measurements for various land development projects across Maryland, particularly in the Baltimore area. Typically, they will manage 1 or 2 crews simultaneously and primarily focus on construction stakeouts. On inclement weather days, they will be in the office learning CAD skills to become more well-rounded. As this is a small firm, there is an opportunity to be utilized in diverse ways. Responsibilities + Assist the crew chief in setting up and taking down total stations and other survey instruments. + Take measurements for various land development projects. + Manage 1 or 2 survey crews simultaneously. + Perform construction stakeouts. + Report to the chief of surveys. + Learn CAD skills during office days. Typical hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional variations. The firm has a small team of about 20 people, offering more attention and mentorship compared to larger firms.
