Job Title: Surveyor
Job Description

Surveyors will assist the crew chief in setting up and taking down total stations and other survey instruments. They will take measurements for various land development projects across Maryland, particularly in the Baltimore area. Typically, they will manage 1 or 2 crews simultaneously and primarily focus on construction stakeouts. On inclement weather days, they will be in the office learning CAD skills to become more well-rounded. As this is a small firm, there is an opportunity to be utilized in diverse ways.

Candidates should report at 7 AM every day and be prepared to work in the field for the entire workday. Typical hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, with occasional variations. The firm has a small team of about 20 people, offering more attention and mentorship compared to larger firms. The firm invests in employees to further their careers, not just to complete tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
