Job Title: Survey Coordinator
Job Description

In this position, you will be responsible for receiving field work orders from Project Managers, evaluating the information for field crew, and processing the field work orders accordingly. Your duties will include developing staking plans based on project requirements and survey data, coordinating and scheduling survey crews, and managing survey data. You will also assist in the preparation and maintenance of survey equipment, conduct quality checks on survey data, and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to support project objectives. Additionally, you will be expected to follow safety protocols and procedures for survey personnel.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Aurora, Illinois.

Work Environment

This full-time, in-office position is located in Aurora, offering standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will be part of a dedicated survey team of 18 employees, working closely with the President and a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the office. Your role will involve interacting with the field crew and the project managers to ensure seamless work and accurate data. You may work with up to 8 Project Managers at a time and will need to balance a variety of tasks. The opportunity for long-term growth is dependent on the company's expansion, with the potential for building out a support survey team.
