**Description**
A Surveyor is a professional responsible for measuring and mapping land surfaces.
+ Measuring Land: Surveyors use a variety of tools and technology, including GPS, GIS (Geographic Information System), and traditional measuring instruments, to accurately measure land, air space, and water areas.
+ Mapping and Plotting: Creating detailed maps and plots of land areas, including boundaries, topography, and other physical features.
+ Boundary Determination: Determining, verifying, and recording land boundaries for property ownership, development, and legal purposes.
+ Construction and Development Support: Providing critical information for construction projects, including elevation, dimensions, and topography to guide building and infrastructure development.
+ Legal Documentation: Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys to inform legal deeds and property transactions.
+ Compliance with Regulations: Ensuring surveys and measurements comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including zoning, land use, and environmental laws.
