Surveyor / Senior Surveyor - Hotel Valuations

Location - London

We are looking for an enthusiastic Surveyor to join our market leading Valuations division in London working specifically within the hotel sector.

The team works across the UK and Europe and provides advice on a range of hotel types from limited service to luxury resort hotels.  The team acts for a range of clients including lenders, investors and owner operators.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to join a specialist team operating in a fast paced and dynamic market.

Responsibilities

Undertake existing valuation mandatesWork on a mix of regular mandates including loan security and acquisition valuationsBe able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimum supervisionTo promote the service line to existing and prospective clientsTo start to develop a profile in the marketplace through building client relationshipsWork with the wider team to help develop our data organisation and analysis capabilities.

Skills and knowledge

Familiar with Excel and Argus Valuation software MRICS qualifiedApproximately 1-3 years post professional qualificationThe candidate will require previous valuation experience preferable of hotels or other trading assets.  Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPointAnalytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and informationReport writingConfidence in prioritisation and working to deadlines
