The role
As a Survival Equipment Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The RAF Valley, Holyhead SE Supervisor will ensure daily that all maintenance is conducted in a safe manner and is carried out in accordance with approved maintenance data and the staff conducting the task hold the correct and current maintenance authorisations.
Day-to-day, you’ll provide supervision and provision of SE maintenance in support of Rotary Flying Training (1FTS), as well as:
Hold Safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a Zero Harm and incident / injury free environment through active participation in all safety programmes relevant to the position. Actively support and promote a culture of Near Miss and Error Reporting. Ensuring that all accidents and incidents are reported. Assisting in subsequent investigations. Actively support and promote Environmental, Quality, Security and Health and Safety standards as defined by both the customer and Babcock Policy. Ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the appropriate standards, practices, technical publications, and procedures by competent and authorised staff. Assist in identifying development needs of staff and continuous improvement to further increase the effectiveness of the department.
This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Valley. This role is 40 hrs Mon-Fri (8 Hours each Day) 1 Hour unpaid meal break. Flexibility to cover customer requirements.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
