**Position: Sustainability Analyst**
**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Sustainability Analyst, you will drive the development of basic programs to help measure and improve sustainability performance.
This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.
**Which are the requeriments?**
Assist with the development of dashboard reports or presentations.
Identify needed resources to implement sustainability programs or projects.
Review data and interpretation of sustainability reports to identify opportunities for new programs and improvements in current programs.
Generate variance reports from collected energy, waste, and water data to communicate performance at various client sites.
Support sustainability goals and implement strategies and programs.
Propose sustainability initiatives, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, technical feasibility, and facility integration.
Track sustainability indicators, such as energy usage, natural resource usage, waste generation, and recycling.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
**Which are the required knowledge and skills?**
**Regulatory Knowledge:** Familiarity with energy and environmental regulatory frameworks across multiple regions, maintaining proper sourcing of information and links to provide to client.
**Analytical Skills:** Ability to analyze government publications, legislation, and regulatory updates to assess their impact on business operations.
**Sustainability Expertise:** Experience in sustainability reporting, environmental compliance, and strategy alignment.
**Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization/reporting tools.
**Communication skills:** Ability to work effectively in a global team with stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
**AI & language translation:** Ability to learn, investigate, and understand AI and translation tools that will be needed to support the workload, translate intel, help to find relevant information
**Language fluency:** English is required and ability to converse in Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, and /or, Chinese is a plus
