ISS STOXX is hiring! ISS-Corporate is offering an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join their rapidly growing Sustainability software & advisory sales team. We are immediately seeking a B2B Sales Representative to market a suite of tools to public companies to assist them with benchmarking, enhancing their Environmental & Social programs, GHG Accounting and Materiality Assessments. Sustainable investing has gone from being a fringe investment strategy to now being mainstream, and our products are uniquely positioned to help companies adapt.
The Product Sales Executive is expected to communicate with various contacts within the C-suite and finance departments of publicly traded companies, with a focus on reaching and developing business with heads of Investor Relations, Sustainability, CFOs and in some instances CEOs and members of the board of directors. This role will be focused on developing business with new prospects as well as prospecting for cross-selling opportunities across ICS’ existing book of clients. The ISS-Corporate Sustainability business represents a key area of growth for the company and this person is expected to be a key contributor and team player.
The sales person will be responsible for all stages of the sales life cycle, from generating leads and prospecting through negotiating pricing and closing of deals. The sales person will need to collaborate with sales colleagues regularly to coordinate efforts among clients and territories.

Responsibilities
Meet quarterly and annual sales targets.Drive sales specific to our Sustainability product line and develop relationships with end users and decision makers.Analyze a large territory and identify key data prospecting opportunities.Communicate across the sales team when selling within defined territories or when originating new business which may present opportunities for additional ICS product sales.Assist in maintaining effective and intelligent marketing collateral and sales content specific to the E&S solutions.Identify and recommend opportunities for partnerships and alliances that can drive sales.Communication of market developments and changes in competitive landscape.Understanding of larger ISS-Corporate product suite and capabilities to recognize cross-selling opportunities and demonstrate ISS-Corporate product knowledge.Qualifications
A demonstrated track record of success selling within the sustainability, research, advisory or analytics environmentsOutstanding writing, communication and presentation skills.Innovative, creative approach to selling and fearless attitude calling on decision makers.Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.5+ years’ work experience, financial services industry or selling into public companies is a plus.Self-starter who can work independently across a team with the ability to multi task at a high level.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new content, sales strategies, and learn new products and services.Interest in financial markets and following daily events/news.Willingness to travel (less than 20%).Absolute personal and business integrity.This role can be based in Rockville, MD or Washington, DC.
The Rockville office located is one mile from the Shady Grove Red Line metro station, with free shuttle service between the metro and office.
The Washington, DC location is Metro accessible.
Base salary: The Rockville, MD and DC expected base pay range is $95,000- $110,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
The role is bonus or sales incentive eligible.
