We provide advice, design, and planning support to major clients globally, and our growing Climate and Sustainability services team is seeking a candidate to support a wide range of projects as we help clients achieve their sustainability goals.
The Sustainability Consultant will play a key role in supporting major infrastructure projects across Australia, with a focus on rail, road, and water. You will partner with transport agencies and project teams to integrate sustainability into infrastructure design and decision-making.

The Opportunity
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability principles and contribute to creative and advanced sustainable design and construction practices. Help track and report sustainability metrics and certifications, such as Infrastructure Sustainability and Green Star Communities. Develop and use skills such as carbon and life cycle assessment, circular economy, nature-based solutions, inclusion and equity, sustainability reporting, and community engagement. Research, analyse and check processes to support robust reporting. Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather insights and content. Help create and review reports. Follow up stakeholders and track discussions and actions. Develop informative and engaging presentations for different audiences. Organise content logically and use visual aids to enhance understanding. Practice public speaking and presentation skills. Monitor sustainability trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies, collecting and analysing data from a range of sources. Is this role right for you?
Recognised relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, digital technology and software, analytics or similar area. Relevant sustainability experience within a consulting business or project delivery environment. Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Python, GIS and eTool desirable. Relevant experience in Infrastructure Sustainability and/or equivalent sustainability certification schemes. Communication / Interpersonal Skills – Ability to communicate clearly and adapt interpersonal style to connect with diverse stakeholders, fostering open dialogue and collaboration.What we offer you
